Faith and Community Alliance NC May Meeting

Faith and Community Alliance N.C. had their monthly meeting Thursday, May 1, at Murphy First Baptist Church. Patricia Arenas from New Mexico was the speaker.  She’s a modern day Corrie Ten Boom, a missionary to the nations.  She told how she became a Christian and was called into ministry within six months.

In her early ministry, Ms. Arenas served with her husband among the American Indian tribes of the South West, until he passed away.  She was in the military for 20 years, and she retired in 2000 to devote herself fulltime to the ministry.  She felt called to Israel, and received ministry training at Ha Carmel in Haifa, and has been to Israel eleven times.

In 2020, Ms. Arenas and two other women in her ministry called Daughter of Troops [DOTS], went on a spiritual assignment across the I-40 corridor from the west to the east and back.  She had a divine appointment in Cherokee County by getting connected with Rev. Shirley Frisbee. Shirley and the DOTS did prophetic acts at the sacred sites in the county.  Ms. Arenas returned in 2022 to see if any changes had taken place as a result of their work.  Then she came back to Cherokee County from April 1 to May 1 to be part of releasing the fire of the next Revival, knowing that the second spiritual awakening happened here in 1896.

Ms. Arenas gave a dynamic message and said that she has a special place in her heart for North Carolina; that she enjoyed the beauty of our area; and had received much from her time here.  She closed with an anointed prayer calling in the harvest of souls, and challenging us to find our place in the harvest.
